A Note from Gary About Our Experience on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition
I received a phone call from Nancy at Legend Homes telling me that they were building a home for a needy family in Corvallis due to health issues and that this was being done by them as a donation to the family.
Our company has worked for Legend Homes for over 15 years installing Central Vacuum Systems in their homes so when I received this call asking if I would consider donating a Central Vacuum to help improve the Indoor Air Quality of this family I agreed to do this without hesitation. I found out about a week after committing to do this project that it was for a family chosen by the producers of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.
I have also installed Central Vacuum Systems to help the Doernbecher Foundation by donating them as part of the Doernbecher Homes in the Street of Dreams for many years. This is one of my personal favorite company donations due to the fact that I spent a month in their facility when I was a youngster.
